Shakespeare in Manila

Ongoing at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), along Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City, is Tanghalang Pilipino's "R'meo Luvs Dew-Lhiett" ("Romeo and Juliet").

Repertory Philippines, for its part, is staging its all-male version of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew," at Rep's Globe Theater, in Greenbelt, Makati, beginning September 2.

And on September 14 and 15, the British Council is bringing over Scotland's Theater Babel's touring production of "Macbeth," at the CCP.
